**The Sixteen Hour OJT Course is $90 when the student takes this course and the Pre-Assignment Course with us within fourteen (14) days of each other.

Armed Courses

If you meet the armed training course pre-requisites, please contact the school for rates.

Note: Student provides their own ammunition for these courses, and pays their own range fee which is approximately $15. With individual ammunition, range and tuition fees added up the armed courses can cost the student anywhere from approximately $150 to approximately $600 depending where the student purchases their ammo from, and whether the Eight Hour Annual In-Service Course for Armed Security Guards or the Forty-Seven Hour Firearms Course is chosen.

E.g,, the Eight Hour In-Service Course for Armed Guards is $100 + $15 range fee + approximately $35 for 150 rounds of 9mm Luger ammo (this can be purchased cheaper from certain sources) =  $150

SPECIAL RATE CATEGORIES FOR

NYS EIGHT HOUR PRE-ASSIGNMENT COURSE

Special category rate/lower tuition fee of $55 is available for the 8 hour Pre-Assignment (Course #700) and 8 Hour Annual In-Service (Course #703) classes and applies to the following categories only (must show proper valid/current agency, college, or military ID or DD-214 to qualify on day of class or the regular rate will be charged):

(A) Local, state, or federal government employees also public authority employees including railroad.

(B) Active/retired US military, guard, or reserve.

(C) Active volunteer fire department or aux. police.

(D) College students.

(E) Active duty or honorably discharged member of  the US military, national guard, or US military reserve unit.

(F) Previous students of any of our classes.

Requirements for A-F discount: To qualify for above categories A, B, C, and D students must produce the appropriate job, military or college ID on day of class; and, for category E (veterans) students must produce a copy of their DD-214 or regular rate will be charged. ID cards must be current and unexpired. NO exceptions so please don't ask! For category F, we already have your school training records so no additional documentation is necessary, but let us know who you are when reserving your seat.

Tuition for the Eight Hour Pre-Assignment course is waived for US Military Veterans with documented service connected disabilities and Purple Heart Medal recipients. For more details click here.
