STUDENT CONDUCT POLICY

Our students are trained by highly credentialed instructors to work in  professional industries and therefore must conduct themselves accordingly while in class.

Students are reminded that their licenses can be called into question by the State of New York for any behavior considered to be illegal, immoral or unethical even if it has nothing to do with their security license or job.  Sworn law enforcement officers may also have their appointments called into question by their respective agencies for the same reasons (conduct unbecoming of an officer).

Students summarily dismissed by the School for any violation of the Student Code of Conduct will not pass their course, and will not receive any refund for tuition paid.

STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

The Student Code of Conduct is applicable to all students taking coursework with Alliance Group Affiliates™ (AGA™) and any of its divisions including the Alliance Group Affiliates NYS Security Guard Training School (School). The purpose of the Student Code of Conduct is to provide guidelines for appropriate student behavior essential to the AGA™ community and its educational mission.

AGA™ expects students to display honesty, integrity, and professionalism in every aspect of their behavior and work at the School and any of its training sites. AGA™ expects students to be mindful of their behavior as they participate in any phase of training. Students are expected to respect themselves, other members of the School community, the community at large, visitors, staff, faculty, and the Institution itself.

Students are expected to comply with all applicable laws and also the rules as set forth in the Student Code of Conduct. Students are expected to refrain from conduct that injures persons or property, impedes in any way the orderly operations of the School, including classroom instruction, or otherwise prevents the work of its faculty, staff or students. Conduct that is unbecoming of an AGA™ student and is in violation of the Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action, up to and including summary dismissal from the School and any tuition fees paid are nonrefundable.
