WARNING NOTICE:

Do not listen to anyone who tells you that if you pay them a fee they can get your pistol permit much faster or get one for you when the police department would not normally issue one to you in the first place.

Some of these entities may charge $500 - $1000 or more in fees and you may be wasting your money. You can simply obtain the application, follow the instructions and then bring it to the licensing agency yourself for FREE.

If you are not good at filling out paperwork, do not understand it, etc., then a reasonable fee may be appropriate, but shop around first.
