Welcome to our official web site! We put a lot of time and effort into creating and maintaining it in order to help simplify the process for you to become a licensed security guard in New York State. We will continue to improve and update this site regularly, and hope that you will enjoy using it.

Our goal for you as one of our students is not only to give you the help you need to enter or continue in the field, but also to continuously assist you in climbing the ladder of what can turn out to be a very rewarding career for you in a rapid growing industry.

Some may choose the security field as their primary career and can eventually earn up to $35 per hour or more as armed guards with the right certifications plus benefits including retirement, vacation, health, dental, and life insurance. Others may want to work in security to supplement their incomes or use the job as a step stool or conduit to other careers providing much-needed income as they attend college, trade school or process for and await civil service appointments. Because the industry is 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, the flexibility of the hours allows for many opportunities!

For instance, people that I have known personally became licensed professionals in the legal and medical fields by working steady midnight tours and attending school in the daytime.  Today they make in excess of $100,000 and more per year! Whatever your reason, we stand ready to help you before and after your classes as part of a nonprofit mission to help put people to work, to keep them working, and to help them have better lives.

We won't take you by the hand or do your job for you, but we will teach you things you won't learn most other places or in any one place, and we will lead you in the right direction.
